Today I am happy to launch BloggerMag Version 2. Why BloggerMag Version 2? Well, BloggerMag Version 1 is one of the most downloaded template with more than 4000 happy users and I used to get lots of emails and comments for making the template. To be frank, the overwhelming response has made to create BloggerMag Version 2 which has more features and it fixes the previous version bugs. So time to see the BloggerMag Version 2, who those who were expecting this for many days.

  • Small thumbnails with grabs the image automatically and crops it
  • Cool page navigation like Word press.
  • Related post box at the end of every post(To improve Page Views)

  • Word press style comment form
  • 3 columns
  • Magazine Style
  • Thumbnail images with posts
  • Horizontal Category Navigation
  • And Some Cool Features

How To Install This Template?

1.Download the Template and open XML file.

2.Navigation bar

The template has two column navigation system. To enter the exact url for navigation search for
<ul class=’art-menu’> and change the link URL to match the url in your blog post. For the second column nav bar search for <div id=’catmenu’>  and do the same.

3.Advertisements

The Template has banner at the header with size 468×96.To add the banner ad find
<div class=’topHeadBannerAd’> and add your ad code.
Then find <div id=’catmenuad’> and add AdSense link unit  728×15 .Find ‘Sponsors’ and include Site-wide 120×600 Sidebar banner ads and 125×125 banner ads.Then find ‘Recent Articles’ and add the banner ad size 468×96.

4.Featured Post slideshow

For Featured Slideshow you need to create the label exactly like this ‘Featured’ and post your featured posts in the Featured label section,it will be displayed automatically in Featured Articles section.

5.Category Thumbnail section

In home page I include four category sections to show the recent posts of the each labels.To Assign your desired label for those sections find ‘category sections’ and assign your desired category title and label.

6.Subscribe Widget

Find  <p class=’email-form’> and also <div class=’subscribe’> then replace the ‘welcometospicytricks’ with your feedburner url.

Update: JavaScript errors are fixed.And Page load time Improved.

    1.Go to Posting section then
    2.You need to create one label 'Featured' like you created 'Free movies download'
    3.Then post your featured Articles in the label 'Featured'.
    That's it.

    i have applied this theme to my blog http://kuchkhaasblog.blogspot.com/search/label/Humour..and it looks very good… i love this theme…

    but i am having some problems.. one is that my adsense is not working with the theme… i have put the adsense code but ads are not appearing…

    and the second problem is that the theme is showing some kind of error in IE.. i have include a screenshot of the prob

    Yes,You can increase the Feature post slideshow slides.
    1.Find Featured?max-results=4 and increase the 4 to 5.
    2.Then in slides-nav add the one more nav li(nav-post-4).

    i have one more question… by default template shows 5 Recent articles on the front page.. but i want 8-10 posts in Recent articles… i tried to change 'max=8' but it didn't work… pls tell me how can i do this…

    hi vijay,just find the recent articles script and then change max-results=8.it should work… just delete any hposts or fposts in that script..

    how r you? sorry to bother you again… i wanna ask you how to show 10 Recent Comments instead of 5..?

    one more thing i tried to put floating sharebox on below blog but if thes "float: -80px" is selected then box doesn't appear.. and if pixels are either 0 or + then it comes on to the post… i thing there are some CSS issues with the template…could you help me out? currently sharebox is set to 0px; you can see sharebox here:

    Hi Vijay, I m fine.Thanks:)
    To change the recent comments,Find the 'showrecentcomments' before body section.And next line of 'showrecentcomments' is for loop,there change the i value 5 to 10.

    And your second query,You have deleted the overflow :hidden to work the sharebox.So that TEMPLATE does not have any problem by default.I have looked your blog the float share box is works fine.

    Maybe there's another solution you can give me besides adding Featured label [which I have already done, with the quot ['Featured']]

     I also have the same problem with the featured posts.. last month it was working fine, but now, as what i have observed, it's not working anymore… same with anyone who is using this template…

    Hi,I just change the Feature label to google in Featured post section.To fix this Find "Featured Posts"  and then change the /feeds/posts/default/-/Google?max-results=4 into /feeds/posts/default/-/Feature?max-results=4.
    Then create the Feature label in the Post editor and Post your Posts in the Feature label section.That's it.If you can't fix this.Let me do..

    For ads you have to convert those ad codes to XML.Search in Google like adsende ad code converter or send your adcodes..i will convert it for you..

    No,not at all..Blogger Template is in XML format ,After conversion only your code looks like XML structure, when you look at the Source of the Web page it will again converted into normal code.:)

    Hi Raja, I use a template BloggerMag Version 2 for my new blog http://newthemesforwp.blogspot.com/ I really like this template. When I create a new post, and I preview a new post, which appears is the home page instead of preview of the new post. What should I do to fix the problem? Thanks.

    Thanks for using our Template.This template is the customized template and it doesn't support this feature.You can use the Windows live Writer for the Preview function with out using the Template.

    Thanks for your feedback.
    Feature is Case-sensitive so that you need to change the feature label to Feature.
