According to the numbers released by Samsung, the Android based Galaxy Tab tablet has sold more than 2 million units since its launch three months ago. Being the first true Android tablet in the market, the Galaxy Tab has done quite well compared to the other Android based tablets in the market. However, the numbers still pale when compared against the market leader Apple iPad, which has sold 7.33 million in just the last quarter.
Now that Samsung has slashed the price of the Galaxy Tab in most markets (it is priced at Rs. 28,999 in India), it can expect to see increased sales over the next few months.
