India has just announced the launch of MoviePlex, a premium video destination for people to enjoy full-lengthBollywood movies for free on the internet.The service is designed to provide licensed, full-length quality movies to provide entertainment to its users to the fullest extent. This move is also to fight piracy.Yahoo! will collaborate with leading movie production houses in India to bring high quality local movies directly to the computer screens of viewers.Currently the following movies are available Aakrosh, Crook, Rakht Charitra 1 and 2, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji.The site designed it can be shared across popular social sites like Facebook and Twitter so that users can recommend their favourite movies to their friends and others.

MoviePlex will compete with the YouTube Box Office channel launched a couple of months ago on a similar model.There is no doubt that this is going to be very popular with Indians as was the case with its rival, YouTube Box Office.
