Today Google announced that it now has 40 million registered users for its Google+ social Networking Product.Google+ launched in the June 2011 as invite only service.After few weeks of the launch, Google announced that it had over 10 million users.It has been opened for the all users to signup few weeks ago.After that Google Claimed it has over 40 million users.The number is looks good.But Google+ is well behind in the numbers compare to Facebook’s 750 million user base.
Google CEO Larry Page said in the Press release, "People are flocking into Google+ at an incredible rate and we are just getting started!".
Google+ also came with many new features.Now it is also have Games like Facebook.Mafia Wars 2, is now available for Google+ users.We have to wait and watch how will it compete with Facebook.
