voilà! You dont’ need to remember Pass code for your iPhone anymore. According to ReadWriteWeb, Apple wants to simplify things even further for owners of its iPhones, iPads and other iOS devices. Just pick it up your iPhone and pull it a few inches closer to your face (with the front camera viewing your face, of course),the screen is unlocked. No more PIN numbers or button-pressing.
This Face Unlock feature is already available on Jailbroken iPhone devices. And also facial recognition unlock feature is also available in Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest version of Android. But both jailbroken Unlock feature and Android 4.0 Face Unlock feature can be can easily be hacked using a photograph.
However, Apple is reportedly working on the technology to combat this issue. The feature would use a two-dimensional analysis of the way facial features are placed. It would also check skin tone and cross-check those details against “target images” that were previously captured by the device.
