Wow! Windows 8 fully supports mail and calendar sync with Gmail and these features are built directly into the Windows 8. Currently Microsoft is preparing for Consumer Preview Windows 8 version. Microsoft today showed off Office 15 on ARM, it shows Google’s services work with Windows 8.
In the screenshot you can see the Google Connect option in the lower left side. Adding a new Google account gives you the opportunity to set up your Gmail account and pull in mail and calendar appointments from there.
